The teak toe rail. I forgot to mention also the measurement from the 
stanchion to the outside of the toe rail

Wow!  You guys had a rough time.  You are amazing sailors.  I have been 
reading your blog and have enjoyed your adventures so much.

I am confused about the measurement you want and wonder if anyone else 
is also.  You said "rub rail"  did you mean the teak toe rail or the 
"rub rail" that is on the side of the hull about a foot down from the deck?
