Ahoy, I'm ready to step the mast on Tiana. It appears that the previous mast-stepper applied some sort of goop atop the mast step plate. I've scraped it and dug out the four bolt holes for the mast base so they screw in easily. What, if anything, should be applied to the plate before stepping the mast? Thanks, Dennis Tiana (#436)
