Gord,
I would think one could move the Genoa car forward or aft to address the sheet angle
issue. What about adding a car with a solid pedestal to raise the turning block? This would create more leverage on the track would it be strong enough?

It would flog a heck of a lot... and the genoa sheet block must be low
on the track. If you raise the block, the lead to the sail will be
wrong.
