[Public-List] Alberg 22 - Members of the GLAA

One additional piece of info. The A-22s form an important and sizeable
component of the Great Lakes Alberg Association as we admit members of all
Alberg designs, not just the 30s. Suggest talking to the A-22 members of the
GLAA.
I have observed the same issues with my moisture meter as Gord has spoken to
re deck saturation. Though they get so punky you don't need a meter to tell
the decks propensity to get soggy. Pity Nye cut so many corners.
The issues created of Nye's 22s compromises are far harder to fix than
Whitby's few relatively minor issues of the A30, like changing out a few
chain plate bolts, or fixing the goose neck rivets or the early boat's main
beam issues. Nye's 22's are major structural compromises.
Again, so sad - pity Carl didn't anticipate those kind of corner cuttings
might take place and had insisted on a creative control clause. But really,
who would have anticipated such silliness.
Hard to deNye - damnable shame, such a nice looking boat
ATB
