I see - can you roll all three of them up at the same time?

I have a 130 that I consider my working jib on the Chesapeake. For the
high winds you refer to, the 130 with a reefed main will work into
that range. However if you are going to be slogging up wind in that
kind of weather, a working jib is handy. The boat is just so much
easier to handle and more comfortable for the crew.

For cruising I also have a 170, which is handy in the summer doldrums.

Hi Jonathan.

We find our 140 good in a wide variety of wind conditions. For
racing I wish I had ordered a 150; but we still had a very
successful racing season this year.

Dear Listers,
               Well, it's time for a new self-furling jib.We have
been using a racing jib since acquiring the boat about ten years
ago but the quantity of sailtape required to keep it going is
costing more than a new jib! I jest. Looking for advice,
information etc. on what we might be looking for. We plan to cruise
every summer in the NorthWest BC Desolation Sound and North
thereof. We do not intend to race. What size? ( We sail in the
lightest airs for as long as possible and don't mind hunkering down
in a 25 to 30 knot breeze!!) Regards Jonathan Whittingham EMMY#25.
