RE dust while cutting; I sometimes jury rig (duct tape) the sucking end of
my shop vac to the power tool to try and catch dust (a helper manning the
vacuum works better). Helps allot but still not perfect.

Hi Jim,
If you are cutting the tabbing keep in mind the dust issue. I seriously
under estimated the mess I would make removing the knees in for the lower
forward shroud chain plates. If the boat isn't stripped down then put in
lots of time to put up a barrier for the dust you are going to create.
