[Public-List] Alternator belt question

A deflection of about 1/2in would be considered normal.  Also if the belt
does not sqeal under max curent draw the belt is tight enough.  Plus check
for any residue on the sides of the engine compartment that would indicate
it is too tight, look at the belt it's self if it is polished this may
indicate a loose belt.
