Add yet another layer and require connection covers over the posts in the strapped down battery boxes under the sole (as has been suggested to me by the CG Aux).
Pretty soon you'll have as many lyrics as 'There's A Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea' .

I never understood the need for battery boxes when the batteries are under the 
cabin sole (basically in a box) and strapped down. Why does one need a plastic 
box too?
