Ladies and Gentlemen, 

My wife and I have just purchased A-30 #114 from Stephen Sousa, who did a first-rate restoration of the boat, but will be moving on to larger pastures, I think. I have been monitoring the list for some time, and through reading all of your posts I was a much more educated buyer. We looked at a great many boats, and were very happy to find a fine example right in Gloucester, where we live. We've had a Catalina 22 for 15 years, so the Alberg is a good step up for us, but I will try to refrain from too many annoying newbie questions, although I have many including a good solution to a boarding/swim ladder that can be deployed by someone in the water. 

I hope to contribute as well, and have a lifetime of experience in woodworking and metalworking, as well as all the tools and machines to go with it. My work as an organbuilder takes me all over the country, and I would like to meet some of you to admire your boats in person as well as in pictures, and if you are ever in Gloucester I can reciprocate. Thank you for all the advice you have passed on to me already, whether you knew it or not.
