[Public-List] Shelving in forepeak

Hi there,

I want to alter the shelves in the forepeak  (every time I roll over, I get
another bruise on my shoulder), but I am concerned that they function as
stringers to provide additional structural support. Does anyone know whether
this is the case? Has anyone ever modified the shelves so that they are more
shoulder-friendly? Any and all advice greatly appreciated.
