[Public-List] Shelving in forepeak

Hi Mel - 

We had the same issue with the ones in SURPRISE's forecabin.  We left them
as-is for about the forward 1/3 then from there aft cut them to just the
width of the flange glassed into the hull.  I put a matching fiddle along
the cut edge.  Up forward where your feet go the shelf is still as big as it
was; aft of that where your hips and shoulders are they are only a few
inches wide - just right for putting glasses or a watch up while sleeping.
