[Public-List] Loose footed mainsail question

Lee tends to use a cheaper cloth.

It's all in the cloth, North uses a much tighter weave, so too is premium
Bainbridge Cloth very good. That means longer longevity and Full Battens are
legal in Great Lakes Alberg Assoc Racing.

Having a sail built new with full battens is far better than retrofitting
later.

The Full Battens and their extra cloth required helps hold the design shape.

Triton makes an excellent Sail, but pay extra for the premium cloth - it's
worth it.

Best

John
