[Public-List] Engine question

Hello friends - 

While watching the Atlantic Challenge races here in Midland today,
SURPRISE¹s transmission kept slipping into neutral from forward when the
revs were in the higher range.  She¹d be clipping along then the
transmission would slip into neutral and the engine would race until I shut
the throttle and pushed the lever forward again.  She seems to be having
difficulty with reverse on occasion too.

Is this something any of you have encountered?
