Debra,

The metal tag in the cockpit with the number on it is your hull number. It
is listed as: 30AABBB. The 30 identifying as an Alberg 30, AA is the YEAR of
production and the BBB is sequence number. So my 1971 Alberg 30, number 488
has a hull identification number, or HIN, of 3071488.
