[Public-List] Hose Selection

For connecting the stuffing box to the stern tube, there is a special type of rubber hose called "stuffing box hose" that you should use. It has many, many more plys that ordinary hose and is much stronger.

 

For cockpit drains I use the white flexible PVC hose by Shields, the heavy wall smooth interior.
