[Public-List] Cetol vs west systemRe: Seagrass

We use a heavy canvass tarp - I originally bought it for the Folkboat but
couldn't part with it.

And John - we DO call it the Shroud of Turin because there is an imprint of
the outline of the boat on it!

I like it because being canvass it breaths - no danger of condensation etc
inside. Also, being heavy, it tends not to flap. A while back I learned
the practice of removing it from the boat by rolling the aft and bow ends
toward the middle making a double sausage roll. In the fall when it's going
back on the boat, we haul the double sausage over the ridge with a piece of
line then unroll toward the ends. Despite the weight of the thing its a one
man job.

But - its like summer out - its Friday - I'm not thinking about Fall!

Gord
