[Public-List] Hand cranking an Atomic 4

Hi All;
        Thanks to Gord for info on a good emergency option.  It is good to know that the Atomic 4 is easy to start with a crank.
I think it would be a good thing if we all had a crank available BUT  I have concern about someone getting injured because they have no knowledge of the correct way to hand crank an engine.
Hand cranking is one of those procedures that is fairly safe if done correctly  .... and can lead to serious injury if done incorrectly.
Is everyone on the list contemplating a hand crank an Old Fart like me who has experience from their youth with "cranky" old tractors  or should I write up a few safety instructions as taught to me by my dear-old-Dad ?
