Peter, 

How was the Iron and Concrete mixture installed? Was the iron used as in re-bar to reinforce the concrete or was concrete added on top of the iron ballast because the boat was too tender? I guess that I am asking what was the interface between the concrete and the iron ballast?

Curious if anyone has had any problems with the iron rusting and expanding - 
have not heard of that with the Alberg but it was a problem with the Rawson 
30, albeit it was iron and concrete. Cheers
