Gusher 10 is a good pump, (remember how old the one on your boat is) - 
consider adding a strum box at the business end of the hose - Whale makes 
them for about $10-20 - will pump the bilge a lot dryer.

Consider replacing the bilge hose as it may have developed air leaks over 
time.
