Down a little further in the Chesapeake, in the East River off the Mobjack, we faired very well compared to Isabel.  Perhaps 4' +- of surge not much tree damage.  Didn't even punch out the porch screens.  If only our neighborhood in Richmond had fared as well.  

Interestingly the Richmond paper today indicated the strongest gusts were on Gwynn's Island in the low 80's (mph).  Well above the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel in the 60's and Richmond also in the 60's.
