I think what you are looking for is a fabric called Olefin (known by many 
people by the trade name, Herculon). If you Google these names you may find 
some sources.

Has anyone had any luck in getting material similar to that used in original 
cushion covers on Alberg 30s?  I need to make some repairs to my cushions, 
but am not ready to make all new covers.  My boat was made in 1979, and has 
upholstery type material which is a white/blue.black plaid.  Any 
suggestions?
