This is not a good sign. If it is a cracked block you are done with that
engine as no more blocks are available. You Should drain the engine oil
completely as soon as possible, fill if with fresh oil and see if the new
oil becomes water contaminated. If the new oil gets water in it you will
need to find the source. Possible place to start is the water pump. If the
seals (or shaft) are bad in the water pump it could be exchanging water and
oil.

hello,
looks like i'm pulling my motor as i'm getting water mixing with the
oil...almost certain it's not from the head as i had it planed & fluxed for
cracks & used 2 head gaskets...so, since there's no oil burning with the
exhaust it has to be internal...i first noticed it(grayish oily goo) leaking
from the front oil pan crank seal...checking the dip stick & oil fill
revealed the same stuff...since the oil also lubes the tranny, how long can
i leave it in the engine/trans before it does more harm&can i still save the
motor?...any suggestions for getting the goo out...i'm thinking engine
flush/oil change but i will have to run the motor again without water...any
suggestions will be greatly appreciated...thanx...mike
