My recollection is that those measurements are identical to what I have on my boat. I hope everything works out. I have done a fair amount of business with them, always with good results.

Hey David, 

Thanks for all the info. I measured the tubes today - the bar itself 
is 1" in diameter and the part of the hinge where the tube fits into 
is 1 1/4". I'll probably try the Grand Traverse Canvas place.
