[Public-List] Shore Power location

Thanks for the responses.  

 

Mike, the shore power receptacle on my boat has a large steel switch box
mounted behind it (in the galley) and it would look really good in my
basement next to my circuit breaker box but on our boat it makes my compass
swing and looks really bad.  Frankly, I don't use my shore power receptacle
at all and so I should rephrase my previous question.  

 

Has anyone removed their shore power system and regretted it?
