All the chatter about fuel tanks reminds me that I'm not all that happy with the arrangement that I inherited, though it works well enough, I suppose, while I'm still running the Atomic Four. 
I do, however, have a Universal diesel on the bench that I'm rebuilding. I'll need to replace the tank when I install it, so I'm listening closely to your progression and would be interested in participating in a group purchase if the selected model is compatible with a non-liner boat.
