[Public-List] Fuel Tanks

Hi folks,
Can I ask a stupid question.? I have a liner boat with an aluminium fuel
tank aft of the engine under the cockpit sole.
If I replace my tank why wouldn't I replace it with one in the same
location? Are tanks available that will fit there?
I hope I'm not asking someone to rehash questions that have already been
answered.
