Gordon,
You can get replacement lamp sockets for you original bronze running lights from: J.M. Reineck & Son, 781 925-3312, jmrandson at aol.com. The new sockets are stainless steel and very inexpensive roughly $12.00.
If you're not handy, you can send them the fixtures, and they will also refurbish them for you.
The sockets are pressed into the casting. Remove the fixture from the boat, and the socket can be tapped-out of the casting quite easily.

Good morning -
Be careful with the ref I sent... I pasted those over from another member's
email sent to me yesterday... but I reckon now those are not the correct
numbers for your lights. Rather they are for modern Perko style lights
using 'festoon' bulbs. For old style you need bayonet base bulbs. They are
on the Rekord site as well, but those aren't the ones in yesterday's
suggestion.
I slowed down on the Folkboat after correspondence came from the club
hosting the worlds. In the spring they told me that their invitation to
compete had to be withdrawn as a bylaw had been passed limiting competing
yachts to those from active fleets. They defined 'active' as several yachts
racing consistently for two seasons. That hasn't happened in Canada for
nearly forty years. They went on to tell me that the fur was flying on
their committee over the damper the rule put on developing competition but
at any rate that killed my bid to represent Canada at the worlds last month,
as well as bids by a few other teams. As things turned out the Danes won.
I'm looking to have TOUCH WOOD done in the spring. Tomorrow I'm going to be
up to my elbows pressing in her new floors over the new keel bolts. It's
pouring rain so I won't be able to work on the mast, but that is now whole
again with both breaks spliced.
Onwards -
