While most of the thru hulls are 1-1/4" or smaller the head discharge is
generally 1-1/2". To eliminate reducing/enlarging bushings in the plumbing
to the head, you should check the size hose that fits properly on the head
and use a corresponding size for the thru hull. Here's a great place to
order thru hull fittings:

Hope this helps

Subject: [Public-List] Through Hull size Head outlet

Can someone tell me the size of the through hull for the head outlet on a
1968 Alberg 30?
I am hoping to order a new seacock before getting the seized one apart, but
can only measure the outside threads at 1 1/2", need ID.
Getting the boat ready to go back in the water.
Thank you Linda
