Randy,
When I rebuilt mine I salvaged the teak fore and aft ends by cutting out the plywood and then removing the kerf with heat, chisel and scraping. I then made a strong-back to the profile of the ends and laminated two 6mm sheets of teak ply to the frame and used epoxy as the bonding agent. The rest was easy.

Does anyone know where I can get a new cutlass bearing and stuffing box and
I suppose the hose that goes on the stuffing box too. I was going to turn
down a little of the stuffing box but too much electrolysis damage.

 

Has anyone rebuilt the main hatch - how do you get the curvature?
