Go with a composting AirHead or Nature's Head - they are easy to install/manage and they don't stink like holding tanks do.

Subject: [Public-List] Waste pumps
Hi,
I'm finally going to install a holding tank on my boat.
Anybody have any recommendations about waste pumps?
Manual vs. electric?
Macerating impeller pumps vs diaphragm?
I was originally going to go with the Jabsco electric
macerating pump since they seem pretty common, but
they have pretty bad reviews on westmarine.com
and anyway I would have to adapt the 1" output
to my 1.5" through-hull.
Any thoughts?
