[Public-List] remove galley counter top /insulate icebox?

Has anyone lately... removed their galley counter top in an effort to
reinsulate the icebox in a liner hull boat?

 

If so, is the first step to remove the teak trim around the perimeter of
the counter top, then what from there?

How is the counter top fastened in the icebox area?

 

Is it possible to get out the counter top without damaging the vertical
teak panels around the icebox galley area?

 

Any tips and suggestions are welcome. I would like to reinsulate the
icebox.
