[Gordon Laco]

His music was fantastic.  Once back in the Œ90¹s I was part of a Canadian
delegation to the annual ASTA convention, and a bunch of Brits, Americans,
Australians and ourselves ended up in someone¹s room singing sea songs.  One
of the Aussies called for something Canadian ­ my friend and I got through
all the verses of Stan Roger¹s great song ŒNorth West Passage¹.   I¹m more
of a howler than a singer but I guess a few rums in the bellies of our
audience (and perhaps ourselves) made it seem like a great moment.
