Hello folks, Salsa managed to get us across yet another (and the final) Ocean. I have the usual passage reports across the Atlantic posted to SailingSalsa.com for those interested. It was the usual wet and rolly ride without any major drama. After over four years and now only about 4000 miles from "home" I'm planning yet another detour, this time back to Cartagena Colombia (where I would officially "tie the knot") and the San Blas Island of Panama for an extra season as these were some of my favorite cruising grounds in the world and (arguably) are on the way home.

Also I had a few emails off of the list asking about my rudder so I'm including a link here to photos of my repair which now have over 25,000 miles and still holding even though the bottom pin is starting to get loose in the shoe just recently. I think its a very good cost effective repair, the delrin bushing I had made still seems to be perfect and eliminated any future wear from bronze on bronze to the pintal/gudgeons. If it's not clear what was done from the photos just let me know -
