[Public-List] Making a new table leg.

How are they for durability? It just looks much fussier and more fiddly, with the threaded locking parts vs a pin that sets in a couple of positions. I've noticed that most newer furniture on boats seems to be more adjustable, lighter but requires a lot more mucking around with at all times. Looks like a good option if it's durable, I may order one soon and I'll report back if I do.

If original is not an requirement these legs are amazing. Found in
euro boats mostly, they double as a salon table or cockpit table with
an extra fitting. This company make knock off of the original swedish
product which is around 400 CDN. Ive seen them used as individual
tables as well one on starboard one on port as the table size is up to
you. You can make the table top removable so everything stows out of
the way as well. One boat had a mounting in the ceiling, where the
table was stored when not in use, alternatively a bulkhead makes a
nice storage area as well.
