I'd recommend a Multi-part Acrylic Urethane.
I tried rolling and tipping Interlux perfection and was not satisfied with the results...had some sags and then some marks where the tipping brush made contact.
I know there are many who have had great results with this product and this was a user learning-curve related problem. If you don't have an experienced rolling-tipping crew the results may not be what you hope for.
We sanded it all off and prepped again and sprayed Awlcraft 2000 the second time and am extremely happy with the results. I went with Awlcraft 2000 as the rep said it was much more tolerant to contamination's than "regular" Awlgrip. Our shop was about the least friendly environment for paint...on a dusty dirt road and plenty of silicone based products being sprayed in their while I was building my boat. I needed something tolerant and fast drying to reduce the possibility of airborne contaminants (dust, bugs, etc)
I used the term multi-part as opposed to two part as the mix consisted of the paint + catalyst + reducer + anti-cratering agent.
The results were amazing especially given the environment we painted in.
This is the manufacturers description: "When topcoat application conditions are far from ideal, Awlcraft 2000 is the coating that will deliver a smooth, high gloss finish. Awlcraft
2000 is ideal for use in situations where dust or fluctuating
temperatures are a potential problem, or where faster project
turn-around time is critical. Its unique, fast drying formula helps
reduce dust-free time between coats."
Cheers, Don
