[Public-List] testing my mast head light

I went through a chronic problem with mast lights on JANTE II. I did test with a battery -- but the real problem was the through deck connection. I finally replaced it this year and the lights are now bright and reliable. Make sure you write down the wiring arrangement before you replace -- the possible options are many if you don't have the arrangement set.

Subject: [Public-List] testing my mast head light

I have had intermittent spreader lights and an INOP mast head light for
some time now. I wanted to test all the circuitry while the mast is down.
Is the easiest way to use alligator clips on a battery and hit the wires
with 12 volts?
