[Public-List] Atomic 4 distributer question

I have an early Atomic 4 with the Prestolite distributer.  I need to remove the breaker plate, to get access to the spark advance weights & springs.  I have never done  this.  Has anyone ever done this?  What is involved, and how hard is it?  I am 150 miles from the boat so I can't just go look at it.
