[Public-List] re-cut a sail?

    On my sail to Norfolk & back I realized just how pot-bellied my main 
is. Of course it is old - the genny was replaced a couple of years ago.  
I suspect the main is not doing me much good.  Is it practical to have 
an old main re-cut to improve its shape? (I am certainly not looking for 
new-sail performance and the sail is otherwise in good condition, if not 
in good "shape"?
