[Public-List] Going to all rope halyard

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can find areplacement orparts for the #3(I think) wire 
halyard winch that is on the mast for many Albergs.  I hate  to go to an all 
rope halyard as that would be quite expensive for me.  All I need is the proper 
snap ring that holds the retainer and screw in place. Any help would be 
appreciated.  I anyone has a used wire winch out there in working order, I would 
be willing to purchase.  Thanks

I'm looking at replacing my wire/rope halyard and would like to know what
line folks have found to work. I'm looking at V-100 8mm but am open to
suggestions. Are there any good choices that don't require replacing the
sheave?
