What I know is on
http://alberg30.org/maintenance/Steering/TillerHead.html I replaced mine
with the bronze Edson. The ears started to bend, again, as soon as I got
into heavy air. I suggest putting a bushing between the ears while it's
brand new.
What does RigRite want for the whole assembly? They don't list prices on
their web site.
I notice that RigRite says, "We also stock a number of items not listed
here, and can fabricate Custom items as well. If you require Tiller
Heads or Rudder Heads not listed here, please forward a sketch of the
configuration you require with details and complete dimensions." Perhaps
they would cut a keyway on the forward side for you.
