Mike,
No worries. It took me three trys to be in contact with the person responsible for the CBAA Handbook editing this year. I didn't know that position changed each year. I would like to have this information entered starting with the 2013 edition and continuing onward. I believe that Mike Lehman is presenting this idea to the LRPC meeting coming up soon. Thanks for getting in touch.

Mike & Glenn,
First, my apologies for joining this discussion late.
I am the current Alberg 30 Racing Commodore and nominated for 2013 Fleet Captain. This puts me in line to be Vice Commodore (and handbook editor) for our 50th year.
Thank you for offering to research information about those that have accomplished circumnavigations on an Alberg 30. I'll gladly take the information you find on Alberg 30 circumnavigations or other blue water cruises so the Association can appropriately recognize these sailors in our 50th anniversary handbook.
George Dinwiddie would be the one to work with for getting the info on the Alberg 30 web site.
Thanks again,
Mike Nikolich

Looks like we already have George's blessing. Guess we should come up with a format we would like to use. The Handbook editor can then lift the information from George for the Febuary 2013 publishing deadline.

I not certain when Yves Gelinas completed his voyage. You mentioned someone completed the voyage in the 1980's? That would make (4) possible with Kirk Little. Contact me off-list crufone at comcast.net and we can discuss further.

It is not likely that these skippers will boast about their accomplishments, nonetheless they should be recognized by the Association which supports the boats they used in their circumnavigations. All A-30 owners should be proud of what they have done. I feel that it is only just that they are memorialized in our Handbook.
