[Public-List] Diesel engine price

Thanks to all who have responded about repowering costs.  I have found what looks like a really nice 25' teak Laurent Giles Vertue stored in a farmers barn in England these last 16 years, which definitely needs a new motor.  The old one is a 1960's gas engine and has not been started since it was hauled out and stored in 1996.  Am leaning towards a possible small universal diesel, although Westerebeke heavily markets noise dampening engineering on their small engines as a desirable characteristic.
