Well, thanks for the encouragement!   We'll see what happens.  The next good weather window we get around here I'm going to take the tiller head off and see what happens!

I've never been able to drop the rudder stock out of the tube, but I've
never had reason to try very hard. It does not just drop out, I can tell
you that.
