Hi Bill,

It might be a good idea to wait until you can accurately measure your old backstay, then use your existing measurements to order a replacement.  The design length may not be the same length as your actual existing backstay.  Alternately you could use stalok fittings and buy wire a foot longer thAn design length and build up your own backstay, fitting the lower end to your bracket after you reinstall the mast. i went this route and am very happy with the result.
