[Public-List] Can anyone recommend a surveyor in the Norfolk area?

Those were my observations from the dock. I would check the decks. The main
does need replaced. But I see all these issues as bargaining tools...you
might be able to get a solid boat for a deal.
I bought my Alberg for $4800.00 with good serviceable and sailable sails,
Moyer rebuilt A4, new thru hulls, new lavac head, new shaft and prop...I
sailed her home from Oriental, NC. I knew I would be replacing rigging
because honestly there is just no good way to know condition. Same with
chsinplates, so I replaced it all and know I know. I bought my boat knowing
it was a long term deal....I would eventually make her into a solid
cruising boat for my wife and I. Like I said I think she is a solid start.
If you replace main it should last a good while. I saw one on craiglist
there in Annapolis for $3-400.
