Thanks Mike for the excellent advice! Yes, I figured out that it was 16 US
gallons. It looks like it will be a big job!!

To remove the old tank first disconnect all of the fuel lines, then remove
the exhaust and anything else that is in the way, remove the spark plugs and
cover the engine with a towel, cut the strap that goes over the tank. The
tank is glassed in on the back end. Grab onto the tank while laying over the
engine and work it side to side as hard as you can to break it free from the
glass...then slide it out over the engine. If you put a new aluminum tank in
the same location you can reach the back with a full arms length plus the
length of a caulking gun. Use 3M5200 and pry the back of the tank with the
nozzle while squirting 5200 under the back edge of the tank. You can also
use West six10 in the tube for this. I think you'll find that your old tank
is 16 gallons.

Bonjour Jacques -
I have a plastic/nylon tank made by Tempo; you can probably buy one through
Marine Outfitters in Kingston. Ask for Dave Wilby at 1-888-732-8883
My Alberg 30 #426 is also a liner boat. It has factory installed wheel
steering and it looked to me like I can't get the tank out without
dismantling the steering and removing the engine.
If Tempo's are no longer available, I hope Dave can help you find another
type that can work. He'll also know custom fabricators near you.
Cheers
Gord #426 Surprise
