[Public-List] Lightning Ground

I told a good friend who is an ardent Christian that I pray to mythological gods from extinct religions during storms.   I infuriated him with my reasoning which went like this:

"A long ignored god might be more likely to grant me something I want but possibly don't deserve out of gratitude for having attention paid, after being forgotten"

He condescended to see the humour (as I hope you folks will to)
