I just got home from an offshore on a Ted Brewer 44 from Georgetown,
Exumas to Tortola. We made night landfall at Great Harbor on Jost Van
Dyke, but spent 3 days at Nanny Cay Marina. The owner of the boat I was
on is good friends of a couple, Mario and Karine, who are from Montreal
and oversee about half dozen charter boats owned by French Canadians in
Nanny Cay. For mono hulls they have at least a smaller Beneteau 37.5 (?)
at the low end and two Hanse (44 and a 50something). They are very
flexible and can provide anything from just a bareboat to a partially to
full provisioned boat all the way up to a crew. I also do not believe he
imposes some of the restrictions (i.e., must pick up a mooring/no
anchoring) that some of the other providers do.
Let me know if you want their contact information.
