[Public-List] Adjusting rudder stuffing box

I have been able to replace the stuffing and adjust the box on the rudder shaft by climbing into the lazerette upside down and reaching under the cockpit sole with a plumbers wrenches.    If you add the green goop from west-marine to convert it to a drip-less stuffing box it should stay dry and you shouldn't have to touch it again for many years.  I believe others have cut access panels inside the cockpit lockers as well, either way, it's no fun, but it can be done from inside the lazerette without cutting, even if you are 5'11" and over 200lbs.
