[Public-List] Stuffing box in earlier Albergs

Michael:  

If you remember our little "ordeal" on Zipalong a few years ago, access to the prop shaft hub and the stuffing box is through a hole via the port locker.  I assume a previous owner cut a hole that even Houdini would have trouble with.  But, it does allow access once inside and you are able to roll on your side.  With the deckplate removed, it does provide natural lighting in the service area.  If you want to pursue this option, let me know.  Would love to help you.
